KL Day 1 - Lanson Place Ambassador Row

08 April 2010

SEREMBAN - KUALA LUMPUR

Now with Eugene travelling with us, we opted for a serviced apartment instead of just a normal hotel room. There will be more room for Eugene to walk around instead of facing the 4 walls.

We wanted somewhere not in town as we are driving and we do not want to get caught in the infamous jam of KL.

I know that there is another serviced apartments called ZON. My bro had stayed there before and I thought we should try another just to check it out.

After researching on the internet, I decided to go for Lanson Place Ambassador Row as there were good reviews on this place . As the name suggested, it is located along the stretch where most of the embassies are located.

And yes, service is good.  I had requested for a baby-cot and the cot was already in the room when we went up to the room.

The whole apartment is very, very clean (most important) though most of the furniture is rather dated but functionable.

Breakfast was mainly American breakfast. Not much local food, only nasi-lemak but hey, if you want local fare, get out there in the street to get it.

I think service is prompt, place is clean, staff speaks good English, good American breakfast and not forgetting the children playroom - is because most of the Embassy staff are staying there.

Definitely a good place to stay for families.

Got cable and flat-screen tv somemore - not bad lah.

Quite a big children play-room. There is a nanny there too to look after your kid, though for older kids only.
