Casa Verde @ Botanical Gardens

24 Oct'2010

Wanted to bring Eugene to the Botanical Gardens for him to run around and so decided to have lunch there as well.

Casa Verde was so packed! Inside looks like a fast-food counter. You order and pay for your food at the counter looking at the menu board above - reminds me of McDonalds. And you have to go 'chop' your own seat but the food will be brought to you when ready.

Quite a number of people with their dogs outside the restaurant (can it be called a restaurant?).

I had the Gourmet Breakfast set. Ok lor, normal western fare, nothing fantastic, comes with bread.

Eugene eating some of my lunch.

Hubby had the Beef Burger. He liked it. He said that it's much better than Botak Jones - Botak Jones' standard seemed to have dropped. The last time hubby had Botak Jones beef burger, they used a different kind of bread and the beef's not so thick and juicy anymore.

This boy is not afraid of the dog at all - though he was patting the dog very cautiously.

Saw most of the crowd had ordered pizzas. Maybe will try the pizza next time.

Well, it was pouring! So we waited till it stopped before we go walk-about with Eugene.

But it started drizzling and getting heavier and we headed back home.

Wanted to walk this path but it started raining again.
