Excuse this terrible photo of the food. My parents were there and I didn't want to ask them to wait while I snap pics.
There's only 1 size for the claypot. Each is only enough for 2 persons. We ordered only 1 claypot rice as dad and mom just want to drink soup. Actually, while at my bro's welcome back gathering, there was a buffet catered and all of us had actually already eaten. But hubby was still hungry and so...
We ordered the claypot rice with chinese sausages. Wow, plenty of sausages but rather stingy with the rice. Not enough leh.
They don't use the usual thick dark soya sause to dribble over the rice but their own in-house sauce which looks like light soya-sauce which was lightly sweet and not too salty.
We also ordered the mince pork with salted fish and 2 kinds of soup - salted veg soup and melon soup - very tasty!
so retro - looks like the coffee-shop of yesteryears....
