Tsukada Nojo @ Plaza Singapura

27 September 2014

My opinion : the soup was delicious but the collagen chicken broth was very, very thick and too rich for my liking. After slurping a few mouthful, my friends and I were 'jerlak' already.

Mom's Birthday Dinner & Kid's First Karaoke

21 September 2014

Celebrated my mom's birthday at the Senior Police Officers' Mess Club.

Mom just had a cataract operation and thus the sunglasses.

 Delicious Chinese Halal food.

 The three adorable rascals.

I had sung 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' to Eugene before, but that was a long time ago.
Don't think he can remember the song . But good effort for his first karaoke session, ha ha.

Told the kid that he will take the lead and that we'll go along with which sights he want to see, where he want to go.

Mid-Autumn Gathering @ Playground

08 September 2014

Kids are always so fascinated by fire.  Maybe forbidden fruit taste better 'cos us adults always tell the kids 'do not play with fire'.

The kid took a stick and started burning it.

There was another group of kids at the playground. When our sparklers ran out, they were kind enough to let our kids have a go at their sparklers too.

All queuing up for the sparklers.

Science of Ammunition @ SAFRA Toa Payoh

06 September 2014

How to make "weapons" with everyday stuff.

My thoughts is : kind of expensive (about $35) for teaching simple stuff.

Some of the stuff they taught is how to make 'exploding' bombs, that is to put together ice-cream sticks and smash against the wall.

Another 'weapon' is to put q-tips in straws and blow them like a blow-pipe.

Ok, there's one which was quite good - 'cross-bow' but I suspect the teacher helped the kids a lot as it looked rather complicated.

As I said, just feel that it's not worth the money paid.

First Dental

12 August 2014

The kid's first dental visit at Toa Payoh Polyclinic.

He did so well, being not scared and sat still and opening his mouth when asked though I'm sure he was nervous.

RSAF @ Toa Payoh

26 July 2014

The kid wanted to go up this tank. Aiyoh, queued for so long and it was so hot......

 Happy and satisfied.

Guess what is he doing?

Shooting down the enemy !

We have to get a q-number first and our number was so big that I told the kid to forget it lah as most probably wait a few hours.

But a mommy gave me her q-number as she's going back home and her son won't be playing it. Yay, her q-number was definitely smaller than ours and soon we got our turn.

We got a q-number for a flight simulator game but as we were going back after this shooting game, we did what the previous mommy did, that is to give our q-number for the flight simulator to another kid :)

Tattoos.
