Happy Belated 1st Birthday Eugene! (Part 1)

A belated 1-year-old Birthday Party for Eugene.

Eugene's birthday is on the 11 July but since hubby's sis and my bro are not in S'pore, we decided to postpone Eugene's birthday till a week later so that they can attend.

With SY's mom (SY is a very good fren and have known her and her family for such a long time, it's like SY's my sis and her mom also my mom, sometimes I forget that we are not related at all)

With our match-maker who was also one of our references for Eugene's adoption and also a great friend.




Hubby's sis-in-law with the other 2 of her kids, so cute - baby JL is just 1 month older than Eugene.

Verdict on the Science Centre :
I think the older kids might like it better. The younger ones don't really understand.

There were explanations and instructions on the sign boards but I feel it is too long-winded.
They should have the instructions in point form - faster and easier to read and understand.

CNBC

Most kids will love to watch cartoons but my boy seems the opposite.

When hubby or I, put on the cartoon shows for him or even the kiddy shows like Sesame Street, Barney, Baby Eistein, etc.... he will watch it for just a few minutes and then, that's it, he will not watch it ......

But when hubby turns on the tv and the CNBC news comes on, he will rush to the tv as soon as he hears the tune of the CNBC and watches intently - just watches the presenter talking and presenting the numbers and charts etc.....

A potential stockbroker in the making ?....

How time flies, I can't believe that we have you half of your life.


The very first time when we laid eyes on you, ..... you turned around and smiled and we knew you were the one.......



The 1st time we saw Eugene when he was about 5 1/2 months old....

Here's Eugene imitating us pointing the remote controller at the TV.

I must say he's quite good, managed to change to different channels and more..... - went to some channels (like games and email) that I don't even know existed, ha ha.

He has also managed to figure out how to manually switch on and off the standing fan in the hall.

He likes to play with the computer keyboard and the mouse and have found the button to switch off my cpu....... aargh...... not good when I have not saved my work.

Got Milk or Not?

Me : I had adopted a baby boy..............

My fren : Congratulations! So do you breast-feed him?

Me : ???????????

Trisya's Birthday

Eugene got invited to his first party.

It was my sis-in-law's sister's 4 years-old daughter's party.
