Think Out Of The Box

Kid : I want to comb my hair myself.

Me : Ok, get up on the stool and you can look at the mirror.

Kid : No need.

Me : ?

The kid turned and look at his shadow on the wall.

Kid : If I see the hair standing up (shadow on wall), then I will comb my hair down so that it will be nice and neat.

Wah, quite smart hor, I never think of that :)

Dinosaurs Fridge-Magnets

26 December 2012

Got this for Eugene's christmas present. He's still into dinosaurs and I thought this will be very interesting for him to do.

I did the first part which is to mix the plaster and pour it into a dinosaur mould and wait for it to harden - have to be fast though, as it starts to harden pretty fast.

The kid hard at work - painting.

I just helped him paint the stripes on some of the dinosaurs but the kid did most of the work.

Later, the kid pasted the magnet behind each of the dinosaurs.

Ok lah, not bad at all.

Xmas @ Nassim Road

23 December 2012

Read and saw the photos of the Christmas decorations outside this house at Nassim Road and being typical S'porean have to go and check it out.

Wah ! very impressive hor !

Seemed that there are more decorations inside the compound like a train track and we can see a very, very big and tall lighted-up Christmas tree too.

Seemed that this family put up different Christmas decorations every year. Can't wait to see what it will be next year.

HO! HO! HO!

Marine Life Park @ Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore

21 December 2012

The Maritime Experiential Museum

Eugene got a shock when the lion head on the ship started moving with red eyes blinking - he ran away crying.

The kids liked this place as it was quite interactive.

Even though all the kids were randomly drumming - it sounded quite musical lol .........

Marine Life Park

The starfish's most fascinating. Didn't know they devour their meal this way.

The kids and adults touching the sea creatures.

Eugene just loves this older cousin 'E'. He followed her everywhere and kept wanting to hold her hands. If she's not in his sight, he will ask for her and look for her.

S.E.A.Aquarium - the worlds' largest aquarium

Lunch time !
I think there were about or more than 20 of us.

There is another similar marine place "Underwater World" at Sentosa.

In fact, I thought I was at 'Underwater World". They had the same travelator thingy to view the sea creatures, the same king crabs, jellyfishes, etc....

The only difference, of cos, is that the Marine Life Park have the S.E.A.Aquarium.

Unless I want to see the S.E.A.Aquarium, I actually prefer 'Underwater World'. I feel that they have more different types of marine life and great displays.
