Hmm.... daddy, what are you doing?

Karaoke Madness
21 Feb 2009 - 9.30pm
Had a karaoke session in this joint which is in the compound of the community club behind my house.
S was so funny - singing (trying) and bopping away....
SY whispering into the microphone - ya, we couldn't hear her at all tho she said she was already singing loudly
It was nice to see 'old' ex-colleagues. We were all working together at the airport.
I think of all of my working experiences, I really enjoyed my time at the airport.
Hmm..... I must try to find the photos of those days.......

My Wedding
Are you like me, where the whole bunch of the wedding albums are collecting dust on a shelf or inside a cupboard - never to see the light of day ?
And looking at page after page of pics which is rather monotonous and which starts to look the same after a while?
So I thought it will be interesting to do digital scrapbooking of some of my wedding photos hosted by Scrapblog. I can put in backgrounds and stickers and other stuff to make the pages more alive.
I hope to be able to print it soon as the printing of the Scrapblog albums are so far only available within USA - but the people at Scrapblog have told me that they are looking into International delivery soon.

NUSS Guild House
08 Feb 2009
Went for lunch at the NUSS Bukit Timah Guild House nestled in the Botanic Gardens.
We dined in The Dunearn restaurant where they serve Western Fusion food.
With my mother-in-law.
With bro-in-law and hubby carrying baby E.
Starter : scallop and lemon-grass sorbet, very refreshing...
Some ordered the beef and it was absolutely tender and delicious
My sis-in-law and I had the seafood pasta dish which was fried with fish roe but it tasted like the hae-bee (dried shrimp) and it was very tasty!!
My in-laws.
Overall, the food was delicious. The portion was a bit small but after going through the set course - it was just nice - not too overly full.
Ambience is small and cosy.
Thumbs up.
Found out that you do not have to be a member to dine at the restaurant - it's open to the public as well.

Nail It !
Everyday is a learning experience with baby E.L.
Hubby : E's nails are long and sharp, should cut them.
Me : Ok, i will go to Kiddy Palace to get a baby nail-cutter (so far, the adoption agency's baby-sitter have been cutting them)
Hubby : Aiyah, can use our nail cutter, it's the same...
Me : Then you cut lah - your eyesight better than mine
Hubby : Wah, I don't dare. His nails are so small, I'm scared I might cut his fingers instead.
Ok, ok, buy the baby nail-cutter (after comparing baby's fingers to our adult sized nail-cutter)
So to Kiddy Palace I go.
but guess what, I was still scared to cut his nails. Even with the magnifying glass, it's hard to see if baby's flesh might be snip as well.
The baby-sitter told me to use scissors! It's much safer.
So off to Kiddy Palace again and got this ...
It has got a rounded tip so will not accidentally poke baby - the scissors are not totally straight and flat, it's a little curved and yes, it's definitely easier!!!

Bought this baby nail-cutter and the best part is .........
it's got a magnifying glass! ha ha
so that you can see clearly baby's fingers!
